Adult couples planning to be married should contact a
parish priest or deacon at least six months before the anticipated date. Please do not make other arrangements until a date is set with a priest or deacon. Participation in a Marriage Preparation program is required. Couples have a choice of three methods of preparation:
- the Sponsor Couple Program,
- an Engaged Encounter weekend retreat,
- or Pre-Cana Conferences.
Because the Sponsor Couple Program is the most in-depth and personal of the three options, it is the preferred method of Marriage
