 The 7th & 8th grade classes have finished writing & designing
the Middle School newsletters, written by each individual homeroom.   The students
used their time in the library to write and research articles.   In computer class, they
typed and edited the articles and then did the layout in Microsoft Publisher.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

The 6th, 7th & 8th  grade have also been learning to do time lines in
TimeLiner 5.0.   In addition, they will be spending a lot of time mastering
all of the tools in Microsoft Word, including outlining, tables
and columns, referencing, headers / footers and other important features for writing papers.

We have just completed researching temperatures from
around the world and graphing them with Microsoft Excel. 

The students will be communicating with e-pals and exchange cultural lessons with a classroom in Italy.   We will be sharing our hobbies, daily class schedules, after school activities and other "daily life" items and comparing them to students their ages across the ocean.
