Explain your experience and/or enthusiasm in journalism. This could include interviewing people, writing articles, developing themes or catchy phrases.  
Do you consider English or Creative Writing one of your strong subjects in school? Explain.  
Explain your experience in technology. Be specific in the software packages you are familiar with and your level of competence.  
Describe any graphic design or photo editing experience you may have.  
Explain your experience in digital photography. Is taking photographs a passion for you? Explain.  
Does your family own a high resolution digital camera that your parents would let you bring to school from time to time? If so, what make and model?

List commitments that might conflict with yearbook, such as school work, sports, clubs or other after school activites.

Application for Incoming 7th Grade

PART 2: NARRATIVE - Provide a writing sample.

In no fewer than 150 words, write about one of the following subject matters:

      Describe any new ideas you would have for the yearbook committee.

      Critique last year's yearbook, being specific about likes and dislikes.

      Describe why the yearbook should be viewed as an integral part of your ICS experience.

    You may use both sides of this paper if hand-writing or e-mail your writing sample to yearbook@theimmaculate.org

    Yearbook Committee --- Meeting Expectations

        A committee of 16 members will be made up of 8 - 8th graders and 8 - 7th graders.

        Committee meetings will be held weekly, starting in September, for 1 hour after school. In January, meeting will be held weekly for 2 hours after school. Unless there is a major conflict, meetings will be held on Wednesdays.
