UNDER CONSTRUCTION

In 4th grade, the students explore MS Word & PowerPoint and work on formatting and fonts.     They will master to copy and paste; insert, enlarge & relocate graphics and be comfortable with basic word processing.    We will also use visual software with lots of color and graphics such as KidSpiration & KidPix.        We will be learning keyboarding skills (home row, capitalization, proper finger usage).     And, just wait until their "All About Me" PowerPoint presentations are finished!

PowerPoint:   All About Me
The students will be communicating with a classroom in Italy to share cultural and "daily life" information.    The students are working on a PowerPoint presentation, "All About Me", showing their hobbies, family, daily life and interests.

Social Studies
We used Kidspiration software to enhance the visual learning of "Urban" verse "Rural".    The students were asked to locate items for each category, then find three items that might fit into both urban & rural categories.
